Large scale building projects such as hospitals inevitably involve archaeological and building survey especially in such historically rich and fragile environments such as Orkney, Shetland and Northern Scotland.

ORCA has been increasingly requested by clients to be involved from an early stage in the planning cycle for such projects across the North of Scotland and has developed an approach that is both sensitive to client commercial requirements and the historic environment.
