Looking south towards the Bruan broch site on the first day of the festival. The day started bright and early at 6am as the team hammered in the signs warning the traffic of archaeologists crossing. By 10 o'clock everyone was ready and as people flocked to the site the archaeology started.
An excellent opportunity. Something I’ve always wanted to be part of and great it’s finally happening in Caithness! Really supportive and friendly team. An interesting day.
